Today we began to read our first grant applications as a class.
Our class divided up the first set of applications, and everyone read three application and presented the class with their feedback. We read the applications outside of class and used a Google form to submit our feedback to the class.
The data committee for our class is leading the discussion today, sharing the each student's feedback on each of the applications. As we are going through each application, students are sharing some of the pros and cons they noticed about each application. Wonderful conversations came from these reviews, and the students in this class are very concerned about selecting the funding projects that best match our class's mission.
The passion of the students in the class is truly incredible. Everyone is truly putting a lot of thought into how each of these funding requests fits our mission. The next few classes are very exciting! Keep checking out our blog to stay updated on our project!
